WellMade Website’s web design business is based in Marchmont, Edinburgh, Scotland. I built my first web site for a B&B in the New Town in 1997 and in 1999 joined what was then Edinburgh’s oldest marketing agency Edmonds as their web designer. Within 3 years Edmonds had, according to the Drum, the widest reach on the internet of all the agencies in Scotland. We began selling online and were soon doing work for the likes of Nike, Rolls Royce and Scottish & Newcastle PLC.
In 2007 i set up WellMade Website and went self-employed while continuing to do all web design work for Edmonds until the company was bought over three years later.
I have been designing and building web sites for a wide range of clients since and have gathered a lot of experience in wordpress, web design, hosting and the internet over the years.
I hope that you can see from the reviews on Google that I try my best to listen to my clients and their web design needs. I try to build the website they both want and need to help their business grow. I train my clients in how they can look after their own web site – showing them how to do the simpler jobs like editing and updating web site content or adding products and changing prices. I am always here at the end of the phone, or contactable by email and always try to do my best and be helpful whether i am chargingg or not.
I do not advertise foir web site work. All my web site clients comes from referrals by past clients or design agencies wanting me to build their wordpress websites for them (from their Photoshop or inDesign files).

Which isn’t really about Wellmade Website Edinburgh – more an acknowledgement that is is pretty silly to wander around in the dark! And.. what a lot of power cuts in Edinburgh of late!
