Is Weloan Banklist enquiry email an Adsense Scam?

Got this email enquiry today. Its from the USA which, though i do have clients from the USA, does seem to be where a lot of scams have come from recently (see: American Restaurant Web Design Scam). But this one was new to me.

The email read:

Kindly go through all the pages of the website and let me know how would you do it.

The url redriects to a bankllist.us domain.

And if i look up that domain i cam across this warning on Threads by katagraphics_designs:

This is for design studios and SEO agencies🚨 The bankllist.us Google Adsense manipulation scam is making rounds again.
Here’s how it works:
They’ll contact you through your website, claiming their ads aren’t working and lead to a blank page when clicked. Then they ask for help fixing the issue and inquire about ongoing website maintenance.

What’s really happening?
They’re targeting professionals like us, people eager to help and always open to new business opportunities. Once we are on their site, we inevitably click the ads to check if they work (spoiler: they do), and each click inflates their Adsense earnings.
Don’t fall for it!

So as katagraphics_designs says: Dont fall for it and dont go there.
